Where is the outrage over the Russian invasion of Georgia?

Where is the outrage from progressive activists opposed to imperialism?

Once again, the UN and international law reveals itself to be toothless and powerless. What should we do with international bullies, like Russia, China, Iran, and Iraq?

For progressive activists prone to dream of a post-America world, welcome to it! The brute power of the Russian military will murder thousands of Georgians and the United States - and NATO - will probably do nothing.

Is Russia's invasion of Georgia good for the world? No. Is the Russian invasion good for human rights, democracy, and justice? No. Are the leftists websites full of outrage at this outbreak of imperialism? No.

Who will replace the United States as the superpower? Russia? China? Iran? UAE? UN? Do any of these of these possibilities sound reassuring for liberal, humane values?

Pacifism, here as so often, means giving in to the brutal force of a brutal, cruel dictator. Welcome to the 21st century, post-America era.

You will, I suspect, enjoy it more than the innocent Georgians!
